To our Polly’s family:
You may have noticed while shopping at your local grocery store that turkey has been either out of stock or in very limited supply as of late. This is due to the very easily transmittable Avian flu that affects wild birds who can then pass it along to commercially farmed poultry.
The Avian flu has spread rapidly to turkeys at farms throughout the United States, making it extremely difficult to get our normal supply of turkeys in for the holidays. To avoid raising prices or offering a low-quality turkey product, we may be forced to pause our regular turkey feasts that we offer every year.
We realize that this is a huge change and not one we take into consideration lightly. If you have a minute, we have a survey you can take here with only 4 questions. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
